GREENSBURG, Pa. – In “An Evening of One Act Plays by Anton Chekhov,” the good doctor (Anton) Chekhov, physician by trade, humorist by habit, doses up side-splitting laughter as his characters make their back-pedal pilgrimage from privilege to paucity. Small moments are magnified as these tortured souls attempt dignity one socially catastrophic day at a time. For as Dr. Chekhov said, “Any idiot can face a crisis - it's the day to day living that wears you out.” Directed by Americus Rocco and featuring local students in cast and crew.

Students cast in “An Evening of One Act Plays by Anton Chekhov” are:

“Drama” – R. Alan Knepper of Fort Littleton, Pa. as Pavel Vasilyevich; Laura Ann Stracko of Nazareth, Pa. as Murashkina; Jay T. White of New Windsor, Md. as Luka.
