Seniors Calsie Boyd and Aron Kurzinski have each earned the WVIAC Field Athlete of the Week award as announced by the league on Thursday.  It is the fourth straight award for Boyd and second of the season for Kurzinski.  Boyd earns the honor with her performance at the Armory Collegiate Invitational. Boyd moved into a tie for 10th in the NCAA High Jump by clearing 1.70m (5'7”), the mark also sets a new school record for the event.  Kurzinski earns this week's honor with his performance at the Armory Collegiate Invitational. Kurzinski finished 4th overall in the championship flight of the long jump with a leap of 7.51m (24'7.75”). The leap earned Kurzinski an automatic national qualifier for the NCAA Championships ranking him #1 in the nation. Kurzinski was also named this week's National USTFCCCA Athlete of the week.
