On Wednesday April 23, 2008 officers of the Seton Hill Class of 2009 held the annual tree planting ceremony on Sullivan lawn. A pink flowering dogwood was planted, and dedicated in loving memory of the 32 members of the Virginia Tech family who lost their lives April 16, 2007. The Seton Hill Junior Class hopes that their spirits will live on in the minds of all Seton Hill students, alumni, and visitors, and that this tree will also serve as a symbol of the strength and unity of the Seton Hill family.
