On October 26, Seton Hill’s Communication Club and The Salvation Army of Greensburg sponsored a service project, Mission Meals. Spearheaded by Communication Club advisor, Frank Klapak Ph.D., professor, communication, Mission Meals is being led by Karlee Cleary, junior communication major. Once a month, Mission Meals provides a spaghetti dinner to guests of The Salvation Army of Greensburg. Student volunteers help deliver, set-up and serve the meals to each guest.

“Our meal in October went very well,” stated Cleary. “We had many children and adults in attendance who appreciated our work. We are extremely pleased that everyone could enjoy a meal that day, and we look forward to helping the rest of the year.”

Volunteers included Jacklyn Spoljarick, senior communication major, Livia Vissat, sophomore communication major, Arthur Boyle, senior business major, and Lehelt Solomon, junior business major.

Mission Meals will assist The Salvation Army of Greensburg with the Annual Thanksgiving dinner on November 21 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Volunteers are invited to participate. For more information on volunteering for Mission Meals, contact Karlee Cleary, cle2978@setonhill.edu.
