Dr. Chris Diaz joined Seton Hill University as an assistant professor of computer science. In his position, he teaches classes in Mathematics and Business, Computer Science I, Programming I, Database Management, Program Language and Computer Ethics. He also examined Seton Hill’s curriculum to add and to revise classes as necessary including adding a UNIX course to help students develop further marketability after graduation.
Diaz left a position at Tech Fund in Boston, Massachusetts, an international banking and brokerage firm, where he served as a senior systems engineer. In his position at Tech Fund, he analyzed the performance of parts of the system to find ways to make applications run faster and more efficient. In addition he resolved hardware problems.

Diaz studied at the University of Kentucky where he earned an MS and Ph.D. in computer science. He earned a B.S. in computer science and an associate of science degree in engineering from Brescia University in Kentucky.

Diaz and his wife live in Laughlintown, PA.
