  • What: Seton Hill University Family Day
  • When: September 29, 2002 at 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
  • Where: Seton Hill University campus
  • Why: Family Day is designed to introduce students’ family and friends to the faculty and staff of SHU.

The following represents a list of events scheduled for the day:

  • 11:00 a.m.- Noon- Eucharistic Liturgy in St. Joseph Chapel
  • Noon- 1:00 p.m.- Brunch in Lowe Dining Hall
  • 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.- “Expand Your Horizons: Make New Friends” in Second Maura Hall Solarium (Seton Hill University students from around the world including: Ireland, Japan, Koreas, Puerto Rico and many others; will have displays and demonstrations.)
  • 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.- The Crucible in Reeves Theatre (Performed by the Seton Hill Theatre Department)
  • 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.- Music Department’s Fall Concert in Cecilian Hall (“A World of Music” featuring the University Choir, Women’s Chorale, Handbell Choir and Jazz Ensemble using music of various styles.)
  • 5:00 p.m.- Steeler Tailgate Party in Lowe Dining Hall (Join faculty and staff to watch the video playback on the big screen. Tailgate menu of fried chicken, tuna, roast beef or turkey three-foot hoagies, pasta salad, fruit and cookies.)

Also available throughout the day- Harlan Gallery will be open from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and feature artwork from SHC students. The SHU bookstore will also be open from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
