The Griffins were set to battle Clarion on Saturday afternoon in an early key PSAC match.  The match was all Clarion as they swept the Griffins by a 3-0 score.  Its only the second time this season the Griffins have been swept (St Leo in the Lynn Tournament).  With the loss, the Griffins fall to 15-4 overall and 4-2 in PSAC play.  Clarion took the first set 25-18 and then blew out the Griffins in the second set by a 25-8 score.  Clarion closed out the Griffins with a 25-17 victory.  Cassie Hausfeld led the Griffins with 8 kills.  Katie Bloomgren and Abigail Malsch each had 8 digs while Lauren Teed added 7.  Shelby Kyllo had 6 blocks while Emily Gilles added 4.  The Griffins will have another big PSAC match on Tuesday evening when they host California (PA) at 7 PM.
