Seton Hill University’s Harlan Gallery is proud to present the work of 19 graduating seniors at seven exhibits from March 28 – May 6, 2008. Exhibits and receptions are free and open to the public.

Seton Hill Senior Art Student Spring Exhibition Schedule

March 28 – April 1
“Veracity of Existence,” featuring the work of Mattie Dickson of Manor, Pa., Jillian Green of Youngwood, Pa., Kira McCall of Greensburg, Pa., and Stephanie Newcomer of Greensburg, Pa. The artists will showcase their best two and three-dimensional work representing the “truth of life.”
Reception: Friday, March 28, 2 – 5 p.m.

April 4 – April 8
Front gallery: Lauren Etling of Youngwood, Pa., will exhibit crocheted sculptural forms – including freestanding sculptures, wall installations, and wearable couture items - that “explore femininity, nature of materials, and the organic world that we all live in.”
Reception: Friday, April 4, 5 – 8 p.m.

Rear gallery: “Starving Productions: An Art Exhibit to Feed the Hungry,” features the work of Lianna Tiberio of Jeannette, Pa. Tiberio will exhibit her graphic design work in a mock design studio called Starving Productions. The purpose of this imagined design studio is to help those in need by donating to charitable organizations across the world. In conjunction with the focus of the design studio, all of Lianna’s art is for sale and all of the proceeds will directly benefit Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization committed to “feeding God’s starving children, hungry in body and spirit.”

April 11 & April 12
Sarah Danko of Latrobe, Pa., a self-designed theatre/art major, will present two performances of “Alice in Wonderland, a New Adaptation” in the gallery: Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m.

April 18 – April 22
“Design in Time,” featuring the graphic design work of Rachel Chrestay of N. Huntingdon, Pa., Amanda Colaianne of Latrobe, Pa., Allison Hickman of Greensburg, Pa., and Nicole Pergar of N. Huntingdon, Pa. The exhibit will also include metalsmithing, painting, and photography.
Reception: Friday, April 18, 7 – 9 p.m.

April 25 – April 29
“Directions,” featuring the work of Elizabeth Keller of Tunkhannock, Pa., David McGhee of Manor, Pa., Joshua Pratt of Grove City, Pa., and Natalie Scheirer of McKeesport, Pa. The exhibit will include graphic design, photography, woodworking, sculpture, metalsmithing, and painting.
Reception: Friday, April 25, 5 – 8 p.m.

May 2 – May 6
“Out to Dry,” featuring the work of Amanda Gallagher of N. Versailles, Pa., Christopher Lucas of McKees Rocks, Pa., Kendra McIntire of Leechburg, Pa., and Kaylee North of Meadville, Pa. The exhibit will include paintings, photography, ceramics, and graphic design.
Reception: Friday, May 2, 5 – 8 p.m.

Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public free of charge, and is located in Reeves Hall on Seton Hill’s Greensburg, Pa. campus.
