Griffin freshman Emily Hassey made her third ever collegiate tournament a memorable one, earning medalist honors at the Clarion Fall Invitational on Monday.  Hassey opened with a round of 76 on Sunday to hold the lead after the first round.  Emily backed it up with a second round of 78 for a two day total of 154.  Hassey bested second place Diana Munoz of Gannon by one shot.  The Griffin team led after round one of the tournament with a score of 335 but had to withdraw as a team because they could not field a full squad of four on Monday.  Chelsea Sipes finished in a tie for 13th place with a score of 169 (87-82).  Nina Gonzalez tied for 22nd with a two day total of 172 (86-86).  The Griffins will take part in the Allegheny Invitational next Sunday and Monday.
