Seton Hill University alumnus Arthur Nobile, Jr. will present an organ concert, “Windows of Music” on Thursday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in Saint Joseph Chapel, which is located in the Administration Building on Seton Hill University’s hilltop campus in Greensburg, Pa. A reception will immediately follow the concert. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Seton Hill University Art Program. Nobile, who has been recognized as a post-modern musician and a pioneer in improvisation and harmonic design, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in art history from Seton Hill University in 1997. Upon graduation, he completed post graduate studies in Europe. He has 24 years of experience as a church musician and has worked with both Catholic and Protestant communities on the east coast of the United State and has served as a national consultant for religious, cultural and civic groups.

Nobile has been active in the production of multimedia documentaries which have aired on the Public Broadcasting Service throughout the United States and Europe. He had the opportunity to work with Diane Bish, organist and composer, on her television show “The Joy of Music.”

In 2005, Nobile was invited to Saigon, Vietnam, to dedicate a new organ for the Cathedral of Notre Dame. He was the first American organist to play for a Eucharistic Celebration at the Cathedral.
