GREENSBURG, PA- The Seton Hill College production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night opens Friday, February 14th at 8:00 p.m. in Reeves Theatre. A pair of twins is separated by shipwreck. Viola, in search of her brother, disguises herself as the boy Cesario and enters the service of amorous Duke Orsino. On his behalf, she woos the mourning Countess Olivia. The mission fails as Olivia proclaims her love, not the Duke, but for his page. Meanwhile, Olivia’s egocentric steward Malvolio alienates her mischievous maid, her drunken uncle and a cowardly knight by cutting short their noisy party. Their wild revenge in the form of a forged love letter, succeeds hilariously. Don’t miss this popular Shakespearean favorite full of mistaken identities, misdirected passion, high comedy and devilishly low tricks. Twelfth Night will be presented February 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 at 8:00 p.m.; February 17 and 23 at 2:00 p.m.; and February 19, 20 and 22 at 10:30 a.m. All performances are staged in Reeves Theatre on the Seton Hill College campus. Tickets are $10; group rates are available. Reservations are recommended.
