Seton Hill University heard Stephen Colbert’s plea for an iPad 2 loud and clear on Monday, March 7. The Greensburg, Pa. university is inviting Colbert to visit the campus and receive a new iPad 2.

In his show, “The Colbert Report,” Colbert begged Apple to give him an iPad. Seton Hill University just responded to Colbert’s request in a video news release.

Seton Hill is the recognized leader in mobile technology. The University garnered national, and international, attention last spring when it announced that every full-time student would receive an iPad in fall 2010 as part of the Griffin Technology Advantage Program. Seton Hill University was the first university nationwide to provide an iPad to every full-time student. In fall 2011, Seton Hill will provide full-time incoming freshmen with an iPad 2.
