Seton Hill University’s Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) inducted 16 students as society members for 2014. ASL is an honor society that recognizes the outstanding achievements of adult students in higher education.

Alpha Sigma Lambda’s purpose is to recognize adults that excel academically and balance the demands of home life and professional careers. The society is also a service-oriented organization, where members implement community-focused volunteer projects.

Inductees who were qualified for membership met the society’s standards of a minimum of 24 graded semester hours in an undergraduate degree program. Qualified students also represent the highest 10 percent of the applicants with a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
