Seton Hill University Theatre recently announced its 2005 - 2006 performance schedule. In addition to offering a dynamic season of professional theatre, Seton Hill will provide a host of services for teachers, students and SHU Theatre fans. Performance information is as follows:

Fuddy Meers by David Lindsey-Abaire
Director: Assistant Professor of Theatre Denise Pullen
Ever wish you could wake up one morning and be somebody else? Claire wakes up to that option every morning - but all she wants is to be herself. The problem is that Claire suffers from psychogenic amnesia and loses all her memories each night when she sleeps. In this outrageously funny adventure, Claire's world goes topsy-turvy when she is abducted by a man in a ski mask who might be her brother and kept hostage by a demented puppeteer at the home of her equally bizarre mother. This separates Claire from her most valuable possession - her vital information that is written out, step by daily step, in the notebook that has become her identity. Will Claire's husband and son and the cop they kidnapped find her? Will she find herself? And will she remember too much?

Kindertransport by Diane Samuels

Just before World War II, 10,000 Jewish families sent their children to England to escape the Nazis in a rescue operation known as the “kindertransport.” Drawn from autobiographical sources, the play focuses on four milestones in child survivor Eva Schlesinger's life, bringing painful memories into direct conflict with the present. She can refuse to remember, but will the past stay silent?

Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare
Director: Assistant Professor of Theatre Terry Brino-Dean
East meets West when the affair between two of the most famous and fiery lovers in all of history rages amidst the war between Rome and Egypt. Reason and passion are in bitter opposition when the unyieldingly idealistic, moralistic West collides with the exotic and chaotic East, personified in Cleopatra. But is the contrast that simple? A soldier once praised and feared even by Caesar, Antony now struggles to find his identity as he vacillates between his military duty and his relentless desire for the Egyptian beauty.

You'll have a good look and a (belly) laugh in the mirror through a flood of familiar feelings.
