Barbara Martin (SHU ’80), CEO of KMA Design, Inc., of Cannonsburg, Pa., has been awarded a contract for signage by the Sports and Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County for the G-20 Summit.

KMA Design, Inc. will develop the exterior signage and the interior green initiative signage for the G-20 Summit.

“We are delighted that Barbara’s firm will be part of the G-20 planning,” said Christine Mueseler, vice president for Institutional Advancement and Marketing at Seton Hill University. “Barbara is a devoted alumna and we are grateful that her firm’s signage graces our Administration Building, McKenna Recreation Center, and, now, our new Performing Arts Center in downtown Greensburg.”

KMA Design, Inc. is one of the nation’s leading environmental graphic design companies. It specializes in easy-to-understand directional signs. The firm has 11 full time employees and a national client base including the new Pittsburgh Penguins arena, PNC Park, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Mohegan Sun Casino. Martin, who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in sculpture and three-dimensional form from Seton Hill University, founded KMA in April 1992.
