In cooperation with Summer Sounds 2009, Seton Hill University will sponsor a concert in St. Clair Park on Friday, September 4, at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Chris Higbee Project will perform.

“Seton Hill University is so pleased to be partnering with the City of Greensburg to host this community concert. We believe the Chris Higbee Project will appeal to a wide audience because the band combines the talent and passion of several diverse, local musicians with countless influences, which presents a one-of-a-kind show which entertains everyone,” said Jaimie Steel, assistant dean of students.

The Chris Higbee Project, a country music band, includes Chris Higbee as lead singer, guitar, and fiddle; Mark Vinsic on lead guitar and backup vocals; Jay McKnight on bass and backup vocals; Larry Shotter on drums; Les Philburn on lead vocals and back up harmonies; Nate Strasser on keyboard; and Troy Williams on guitar.

St. Clair Park is located at 135 North Maple Avenue in Greensburg. Parking in Greensburg will be free after 5 p.m. the evening of the concert.
