On Tuesday, November 30, Seton Hill University’s freshman class hosted the annual Crib Ceremony.

Each year the freshman class arranges the nativity scene during the Crib Ceremony. First year students join together in the Third Floor Oratory of the Administration Building to participate in gospel readings, singing and presentation of nativity figures. The group was guided in prayer by Rev. Stephen Honeygosky, O.S.B., Ph.D., chaplain and associate director of Campus Ministry, and Sister Maureen O’Brien, S.C., director of Campus Ministry.

“The Crib Ceremony is a wonderful Seton Hill tradition and such a good way to celebrate during the Advent season,” said Sister Maureen O’Brien, S.C., director of Campus Ministry. “We had good attendance from our first year students at this special holiday event.”
