What: Seton Hill University will host the second annual “Relay For Life” event to benefit the American Cancer Society. The event is open to the public.

When: Saturday, February 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Salvitti Gymnasium, inside the McKenna Center on Seton Hill University’s hilltop campus in Greensburg, Pa.

Background: Seton Hill University’s Relay for Life event will feature traditional Relay activities such as luminary sales, survivor and memory walks and balloon releases in addition to interactive events sponsored by clubs and organizations at Seton Hill. There is no cost to attend, however, donations to participate in the activities are encouraged.

Among the activities planned for the Relay for Life are a three-on-three basketball tournament, a three-point shooting contest, video gaming sessions, a basket raffle auction and a performance by comedian Eric O’Shea.

All benefits from the event benefit the American Cancer Society.

Katie Ronald, a 2001 Seton Hill University alumna and Co-Chair of the Greensburg Relay For Life, which will be held in June, said: “The American Cancer Society is proud to support the Relay For Life of Seton Hill University. We are showing that the community and the University are coming together and making an impact in the fight against cancer.”
