GREENSBURG, PA – Seton Hill University, Division of Visual and Performing Arts presents the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds “Pops” concert. The concert will take place Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on Seton Hill’s campus and will be directed by Kathleen M.Campbell, Music Director and Conductor and Theodore A. DiSanti, Assistant Conductor and Jazz Ensemble Director.

The program will feature the WSW Jazz Ensemble performing Lowdown by Thad Jones, The Same M.O. by Bill Zaccagni, Shiny Stockings by Frank Foster and A Tribute to the Big Bands of the 1940’s. Also performing will be the SHU Community Music Program Youth Honors Band. Westmoreland Symphonic Winds will perform The March from “1941” by John Williams, Hymn to the Fallen (from Saving Private Ryan) by John Williams, The Homefront: Musical Memories from World War II arranged by James Christensen.
