February 24 - March 4, 2006

Seton Hill University Theatre is proud to present “Antony and Cleopatra” by William Shakespeare opening February 24, 2006. Seton Hill's presentation of “Antony and Cleopatra” will be directed by assistant professor of theatre Dr. Terry Brino-Dean.

East meets West when the affair between two of the most famous and fiery lovers in all of history rages amidst the war between Rome and Egypt. Reason and passion are in bitter opposition when the unyieldingly idealistic, moralistic West collides with the exotic and chaotic East, personified in Cleopatra. But is the contrast that simple? A soldier once praised and feared even by Caesar, Antony now struggles to find his identity as he vacillates between his military duty and his relentless desire for the Egyptian beauty.
