The Seton Hill Youth Honors Band started 15 years ago as an honors band for students of local Catholic schools. After a few years it was opened to all students in the area. Kathleen Campbell, Associate Professor of Music, started this program just a few years after she began the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds, the wind ensemble in residence at Seton Hill. Seton Hill Youth Honors Band is a part of the Community Music Program at Seton Hill, where students can take private lessons and participate in Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, and other ensembles.
