GREENSBURG, PA – Seton Hill University’s Harlan Gallery is pleased to announce Flights from Fancy, a new invitational sculpture exhibit. This contemporary exhibit, curated by Seton Hill University sculpture professor Pati Beachley, opens on Thursday, March 6 and runs through Thursday, April 3, 2003. An opening night reception will be held on March 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will include an artist lecture by Lisa Austin at 6:00 p.m.

Flights from Fancy features works by artists D.W. Martin, Lisa Austin, Christopher Gose and Katherine M. Shaw. The exhibit showcases a variety of media including wax, steel, and laminate. “My ideas come from different sources, at different times, in different situations or events that happen to me and around me,” said D.W. Martin when asked about his work.

All Harlan Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment.
