Seton Hill University was named a Best Regional College in the North Region in the 2015 edition of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The exclusive rankings are available online.

Seton Hill was ranked No. 11 among Regional Colleges in the North. Regional colleges “focus almost entirely on the undergraduate experience and offer a broad range of programs in the liberal arts … and in fields such as business, nursing and education,” according to U.S. News & World Report.

In addition to the overall ranking, Seton Hill was honored as a Best Value College and as a Best College for Veterans.

Seton Hill earned the No. 7 spot for Best Value among all Regional Colleges in the North for providing quality education at an affordable cost to families.

According to U.S. News & World Report, “Only schools in or near the top half of their U.S. News ranking categories are included because U.S. News considers the most significant values to be among colleges that perform well academically.”

Seton Hill University is ranked No. 3 among Regional Colleges in the North in U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural rankings of the Best Colleges for Veterans.

The rankings provide data and information on schools that offer federal benefits, including tuition and housing assistance, to veterans and active service members in order to help them pursue a college education under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Only colleges that are certified to accept the GI Bill, participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program and are members of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium are eligible to be ranked in the Best Colleges for Veterans.

"Seton Hill is pleased to again be recognized by U.S. News & World Report for the University’s academic offerings of the highest quality and the University’s efforts to remain an affordable choice for students and their families,” said Seton Hill President Mary C. Finger, Ed.D. “We are committed to offering distinctive programs in the health sciences, business and entrepreneurial studies and the visual and performing arts that are undergirded by a liberal arts curriculum that prepares students for their future paths, whether it be graduate study or a career.”

Dr. Finger continued, “Seton Hill is also pleased that our commitment to assisting veterans as well as members of the Reserves and National Guard and their families is being acknowledged. The University works to ensure that our veterans and service members can easily obtain their well-deserved benefits and provides the support necessary for them to succeed in their academic courses and to make a seamless transition into our University community.”
