Seton Hill University earned the number 12 spot among the Best Regional Colleges in the North Region in the 2011 edition of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News and World Report . The exclusive rankings are available online.

Seton Hill was classified in the Regional College category. According to U.S. News and World Report, “these schools focus almost entirely on the undergraduate experience and offer a broad range of programs in the liberal arts and in field such as business, nursing and education.”

“I am happy that what I believe about Seton Hill is affirmed by the University’s rank by U.S. News and World Report. Seton Hill is unique because it is rooted in tradition but very progressive in its approach to education,” commented Katie Fritsch, president, Seton Hill Government Association. “I love that Seton Hill was the first school in the nation to create a program that will deliver an iPad to every full-time student this fall. It will be amazing to see how the teaching and learning environment is enhanced on our campus. Seton Hill is serious about preparing us for the future and even better, helping us create it.”
Seton Hill University also ranked number five in Regional Colleges in the North Region for providing quality education at an affordable cost to families. According to U.S. News and World Report, “Only schools ranked in or near the top half of their categories are included because U.S. New considered the most significant values to be among colleges that are above average academically.”
