Westmoreland Symphonic Winds and Laurel Ballet collaborate in a unique celebration of music for dance

Greensburg, PA – Seton Hill University’s Division of Visual and Performing Arts is proud to present the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds’ Eighteenth Season Concerto Concert Shall We Dance. Shall We Dance incorporates music for dance with performances from members of the Laurel Ballet. Shall We Dance will be presented on Saturday, March 6 at 8 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on Seton Hill’s campus. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Shall We Dance features Ritual Fire Dance from El Amore Brujo by Manuel De Falla, Dance Sequence by Gareth Wood (Seton Hill alumna Rebecca Russell, trombone soloist), Three Japanese Dances by Bernard Rogers, Pineapple Poll, Suite from the Ballet by Arthur Sullivan and Suite of Old American Dances by Robert Russell Bennett. Kathleen M. Campbell is the Music Director and Conductor of the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds, and Theodore A. DiSanti is Assistant Conductor. Judy Rae Tubbs is the Laurel Ballet choreographer.
