Harlan Gallery at Seton Hill University is proud to present “Women in Art,” a juried exhibit of works in all media by female artists, October 25 – November 19, with a reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, October 25 from 4-7 p.m. In conjunction with the exhibit, a symposium on issues facing contemporary female artists will be held on Friday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. in Reeves Theatre.

“Women in Art” is offered every two years at Harlan Gallery, in conjunction with a Seton Hill art history class on the subject. Works are selected from submissions in all media by female artists, through a group jury process by the upper-level art history students. Cash prizes will be awarded for outstanding works.

Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public free of charge, and is located in Reeves Hall on Seton Hill’s Greensburg, Pa. campus.
