The Seton Hill women's basketball team will begin its second season of PSAC play and were selected eighth in the West in the PSAC West Women's Basketball Preseason Poll.  The poll was released by the league office on Wednesday with voting conducted by the league's head coaches.  This year's team will look to replace a senior class that accounted for 73% of the team's scoring and 65% of its rebounding.  Last year the Griffins finished 13-14 overall and 5-11 in PSAC West play, good for a sixth place finish.  The Griffins were defeated by California in the first round of the PSAC Tournament.  Seton Hill will be led by senior Meghan Mastroianni and W&J transfer Chelsea Apke.  Mastroianni averaged 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game last season while Apke averaged a double double with 17.1 points and 10.1 rebounds at Washington & Jefferson.  The Griffins will open the season at the MEC/PSAC Challenge at WV State where they will play Charleston and WV State.  The PSAC West opener will be on November 19th when the Griffins host Edinboro
