The Seton Hill women's basketball program, in their first season of PSAC play, has been selected fifth in the west in the PSAC Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll.  The poll was voted on by the league's head coaches.  The Griffins, under first year head coach Mark Katarski, return a very strong team from last season.  This year's team returns 93.5% of their scoring and 87.1% of their rebounding from a squad that went 19-14 last season.  Seton Hill also was 13-9 in WVIAC play and advanced to their first ever WVIAC championship game before falling to Fairmont State in the finals.  Over the past three seasons, the Griffins are 3-6 against PSAC opponents.  Seton Hill will open their 2013-14 season on November 9th when they travel to WV Tech.  The Griffins first ever PSAC contest will be November 20th at Mercyhurst.
