Kaye Dacus, SHU ’06, has written and released “Menu for Romance.” This is the second book published by Barbour Publishing in the “Brides of Bonneterre” series by Dacus.

“Menu for Romance” tells the story of Meredith Guidry, a party planner who has made a prayerful New Year’s resolution to meet someone new and end her single status by the year’s end. Executive Chef Major O’Hara, with whom Meredith works daily, has foresworn relationships but develops feelings for Meredith. When he is presented with the opportunity of a lifetime, he must weigh his feelings for Meredith with the desire to move forward in his career.

“Stand in Groom,” the first of the “Brides of Bonneterre” series, was published in January 2009 and was the manuscript Dacus completed to graduate from Seton Hill’s Master of Arts in Writing Popular Fiction program.

Dacus, of Nashville, Tenn., currently works as a freelance editor and copywriter for several publishing houses. She serves as the president of Middle Tennessee Christian Writers and is the former vice president of the American Christian Fiction Writers. Dacus obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Trevecca Nazarene University.
